Mecha­nical Design Engi­neer

FERCHAU Poland is seeking a Mecha­nical Design Engi­neer to support the deve­lop­ment of mecha­nical components used in engines and power gene­rator systems. The role mainly focuses on design work and close colla­bo­ra­tion with cross‑­func­ti­onal teams throug­hout the product deve­lop­ment cycle.

This will be your future job

• Desi­gning components and assem­b­lies for engine and gene­rator appli­ca­tions, from concept stage to produc­tion readi­ness

• Pre­pa­ring 3D models and 2D drawings in accor­dance with internal stan­dards and ISO tole­rance guide­lines

• Sup­por­ting design reviews, veri­fi­ca­tion of tech­nical docu­men­ta­tion, and Bill of Mate­rials updates

• Coope­ra­ting with analysis, vali­da­tion, sour­cing, and manu­fac­tu­ring teams to ensure tech­nical feasi­bi­lity and smooth indus­tri­a­li­za­tion

• Par­ti­ci­pa­ting in assembly trials and contri­bu­ting to acti­vi­ties related to supplier assess­ments

• Taking part in impro­ving internal processes, design metho­do­lo­gies, and docu­men­ta­tion quality

The right quali­fi­ca­tions

• Degree in Mecha­nical Engi­nee­ring or a related tech­nical disci­pline

• Minimum 2 years of expe­ri­ence in mecha­nical design

• Prac­tical expe­ri­ence in desi­gning cast components, fabri­cated struc­tures, and machined parts

• Pro­fi­ciency in CATIA V5

• Solid under­stan­ding of mecha­nical design prin­ciples, DFM, and ISO/GD&T stan­dards

• Strong commu­ni­ca­tion skills and ability to work effec­tively in an inter­na­ti­onal engi­nee­ring envi­ron­ment

• Fluent English (written and spoken)

• Wil­ling­ness to travel occa­si­o­nally for busi­ness purposes
