Protection & Control Engineer

Tasks:

• Coordination of project design among local and international stakeholders

• Verification of design compliance with local regulations

• Leadership in technical discussions with project stakeholders

• Calculation of protection setpoints

• Development of technical design documentation

• Collaboration with manufacturing units to align client requirements with technical feasibility

• Recommendation of solutions balancing client needs and project integrity

• Technical support for project management, sales, and tendering teams

• Configuration and commissioning of protection & control systems on-site

• Delivery of customer training sessions (presentations and hands-on workshops)

• Aftersales support for clients across the region

Requirements:

• Technical High School Diploma in protection & automation in energy systems (Ph.D. as an advantage)

• Professional experience in power systems, especially transmission and protection relays

• Knowledge of HV/MV systems, including bus bar applications, standards, specifications, and communication protocols

• Familiarity with protection relays such as Micom Px40, Multilin UR, and 8 series (preferred)

• Experience with computer networks, switches, routers, and gateways (preferred)

• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse internal and external stakeholders

• Fluent in Polish, with strong command of English for effective communication in international environments

• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and discretion with confidential information

• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
