Structural Design Engineer - Heavy Steel & Handling Systems

We are looking for an experienced Structural Design Engineer to develop engineering solutions supporting manufacturing, handling, and transportation of large steel structures and shipbuilding components.

Your responsibilities

• Preparation of 2D/3D models and technical documentation for tooling and transport systems

• Design of lifting, rotating, and handling fixtures for heavy structures

• Development of transport and assembly support structures

• Updating and maintaining engineering documentation

• Performing technical analysis and validation of design concepts

• Conducting engineering calculations, including FEM analysis

• Supporting definition of transport assumptions and methodologies

• Material selection and process optimization support

Your profile

• Minimum 3 years of relevant engineering experience

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Shipbuilding, or related field

• Strong understanding of technical drawings and standards

• Knowledge of manufacturing and material processing technologies

• Ability to work with English technical documentation

• Strong communication skills, independence, and reliability
