About the role
The Content Marketing Specialist at FinanSys is responsible for creating clear, relevant, and high-impact content that supports lead generation and helps convert prospects into customers. This role goes beyond writing, it focuses on understanding our target audience, their challenges, and how FinanSys’ solutions solve them.
Working closely with Sales and Product teams, the Content Marketing Specialist develops website copy, landing pages, case studies, and SEO-driven content that attract the right audience and guide them through the buying journey. A key part of the role is turning complex ERP and financial concepts into simple, compelling messaging that resonates with decision-makers.
This role plays an important part in improving both the quality and conversion of leads by continuously refining messaging based on performance, feedback, and market insights.
We work Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:30 UK hours (including 1h unpaid lunch break); 37,5h/week.
Role responsibilities;
Create and optimise website copy, landing pages, and core messaging to improve conversion and lead quality
Create and optimise content for SEO and AEO, ensuring pages are structured to rank well and provide clear, high-quality answers
Apply on-page SEO best practices, internal linking, and content structure to improve both visibility and conversion
Translate complex ERP and financial concepts into clear, engaging, and relevant messaging for target customers
Produce high-impact content such as case studies, use cases, and thought leadership to support demand generation and sales
Work closely with Sales and Product teams to ensure messaging reflects real customer needs and objections
Support campaign execution with content tailored to specific audiences, industries, and use cases
Continuously refine content based on performance data, feedback from sales, and market insights
Maintain consistency of tone, positioning, and messaging across all channels
Contribute to improving overall website experience and user journeys from a content perspective
About the candidate
Essential;
4+ years of experience in content marketing, copywriting, or similar roles in a B2B environment
Proven track record of creating content that supports lead generation and conversion (not just traffic)
Strong experience writing for websites, landing pages, and sales-focused content (e.g. case studies, use cases)
Solid understanding of B2B buyer journeys and how content supports different stages of the funnel
Ability to translate complex or technical topics (e.g. ERP, finance systems, software) into clear, engaging messaging
Good understanding of SEO and AEO fundamentals, with a focus on intent, relevance, and conversion
An analytical mindset, with the ability to use data and feedback to improve content performance
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, product)
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across messaging
Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics and Search Console
Excellent written English (fluent level)
Nice to have skills;
Experience in a B2B SaaS or ERP / financial systems environment
Familiarity with tools such as ahrefs
Experience supporting campaigns (paid, organic, or events) with tailored content
Basic understanding of UX principles and how content impacts user experience
