V&V/Test Engineer

Fluke in Poland is growing - we are setting up a new R&D team in Wroclaw to enhance existing and deliver our newest products. This is a rare opportunity to build a new team within an already established environment. Validation and Verification (Test) Engineer will cooperate with Engineerinng Teams and work mostly on New Product Introduction (NPI) programs.

You will be working with other engineers: HW Engineers, FW Engineers, ME Engineers, V&V Engineers, and with support of our colleagues from US and EMEA.

The Validation and Verification (Test) Engineer will be analyzing product requirements, crafting test plans, designing test setups, and creating test automation software to verify Fluke's products, ensuring they are fully functional and exceed our customers’ expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop automated verification systems for each assigned product to ensure complete and robust test coverage.
• Review, mentor, and guide engineers during the creation of the product requirements ensuring that they meet the key validation criteria of complete, objective, and testable.
• Build and create test plans/cases for black-box testing according to product requirements and project schedule with execution toward quality and delivery.
• Find opportunities for process improvement and drive execution of the ideas.
• Coordinate actions with other functions/departments to get the results needed by supporting the project.
• Be an integrated project member in the hardware/software development processes from initial business requirements to deployment, production, and service support.

Requirements:

• BS in Electronics Engineering or Computer Science with 2-5 years of experience.
• Skills of ideal candidate should cover two aspects: Hardware and Software, however if strong in single area still can be valuable contributor to V&V team:

Hardware related skills:

• understanding product’s functions and parameters from electronics point of view,
• experience with hardware development process,
• understanding of electronic hardware principles, circuits, troubleshooting,
• usage of equipment for DC, LF, and RF measurements.

Software related skills:

• experience with Agile Software development,
• programming skills for test automation, hands-on experience with Python or Squish,
• understanding product’s features from user’s perspective.
• Knowledge of verification and validation process, test strategies, requirements’ management,
• Ability to learn new programming concepts, languages, and best practices.
• Ability to work with ambiguity and use good judgement and decision-making skills
• Alternatively, experience from production testing of electronics, knowledge of productions test systems, experience in test sequence creation with LabView or TestStand.
