    About the role:

    Description:

    The primary purpose of the Resource Management Local Lead is to ensure proper resource management governance, exceptional service delivery to our customers, optimize resource utilization, reduce bench time and manage resource management internal projects . This role reports to the Head of Workforce Management, locally reports to GDC Head, collaborates closely with resource managers across GDCs, HR and Business Lines' management.

    The Resource Management function with Global Delivery deals with the central management of demand and supply for resourcing across all GDCs. It interacts with regions, corporate functions and others to gather and to respond to long-, mid- and short-term skill and resource needs. It interacts with the local capabilities of resource managers within the GDCs and Service Lines, providing a common governance, processes and tools and strives to consolidate them where possible synergies have been identified.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage the Resource Management function.
    • Execute agreed action in line with corporate policies and labor law.
    • Coordinate the cooperation between Lines of Business and supportive functions in regard to Resource Management.
    • Implementation and maintenance of improvements in resource management process.
    • Executive reporting to Head of Workforce Management, GDC Head and HR Director.
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with the Units responsible for requesting resources.
    • Gather the immediate resource requests and provide a timely response (demand-supply-matching) to these needs by identifying, proposing and assigning matching profiles. These actions will be based on agreed response times and SLAs.
    • The supply-demand-matching will take the capabilities and capacities of the GDCs as well as any delivery constraints into account and will identify an appropriate location.
    • Operational management of the benches in the GDC: entry with identification of training plans, control of bench size per capability and overall, assignment of individuals out of the bench, identification of bench refill needs together with Service Line Leads.
    • Collaboration with local Heads of GDC / finance / HR to provide timely reporting and fact-based recommendations.
    • Close collaboration with recruitment to source missing capabilities via external hiring.
    • Cooperation with Global Resource Management Team and opportunities identification outside of GDC Poland
    • Collaboration with procurement to source missing capabilities via short-term 3rd party support.
    • Business Case creation.
    • Achieve Resourcing SLAs across Region supported, GDC location and Service Line.
    • Efficient and cost-effective assignment preferring existing bench-resources where applicable and/or choosing the right GDC-location for sourcing based on defined policies.
    • Manage and improve data readability and compliance
    • Create reporting/dashboards
    • Ensure 100% data accuracy with the actual state and prediction
    • Manage success rate of bench utilization

     

    Requirements:

    • At least 5 years of Resource Management experience.
    • Leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent stakeholder management to cooperate with leadership, HR, sales team and others.
    • Processes implementation and governance skills.
    • Business cases preparation skills.
    • Risks identification and mitigation management.
    • A deep understanding of operational resource management processes and procedures out of a service environment to ensure efficient resource management across different regions and cultures.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders, team members, and senior management across different regions and cultures.
    • Strong analytical skills to analyze data and make informed decisions about resource allocation and utilization.
    • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
    • The ability to identify and solve complex problems related to operational resource management in a global context.
    • The ability to understand and navigate cultural differences and work effectively with teams from different regions and cultures.
    • The ability to negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure optimal resource utilization and cost-effectiveness.
    • A strong understanding of operational resource management tools, software, and technologies to optimize resource allocation and utilization.
    • A deep understanding of our skills (skill gaps), certification metrics of leading vendors and overall skill management.
    • The ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced global environment.
    • The ability to understand and manage emotions, both in oneself and others, to build strong relationships and work effectively in a team.
    • The ability to bounce back from setbacks and challenges and maintain a positive attitude in a high-pressure global environment.
