Senior Material Planner

Inviting applications for the role of Senior Material Planner - Hybrid Katowice.

Key to the role is to ensure sufficient material availability for internal demand fulfillment in the tactical horizon with a focus on managing material suppliers and resolving material bottlenecks.

Responsibilities

1. Set and manage replenishment strategy and associated parameters for raws & packs responsible in the network in line with inventory policies and targets·
2. Review MRP output and inventory projections, manage material exceptions across the tactical horizon in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders (Supply Network Planner, Commercial and Procurement, External Suppliers, etc.)
3. Share material forecast with Procurement and External Suppliers
4. Update MRP plan balancing inventory and capacity with the objective to meet material demand on-time and in fullz
5. Review supplier performance and identify issues and improvement opportunities, liaising with the Commercial and Procurement team
6. Track and manage phase-in/ phase-out of materials and BOM’s
7. Flag master data exceptions to Master Data Management Team

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, applied math or other relevant degree
2. Strong understand of at least advanced planning systems and its functionality,
3. Very good English skills min. B2+
4. Knowledge of ERP functionality, experience with SAP / Oracle / JDE an asset.
5. Demonstrated experience in supply planning (MRP planning, Inventory & Business waste management)
6. Strong analytical skills
7. Exceptional drive, excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to immediately contribute in a collaborative team environment
