Your Mission

As a Direct Marketing Specialist, you'll be responsible for designing, executing, and automating our entire direct marketing strategy. You will shift our focus from bulk sendouts to hyper-personalized, data-driven journeys that engage our current users, capture new leads, and maximize our revenue.

You will report to the Monetisation Manager.

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing direct campaigns and sendouts. This includes preparing the templates, defining CTA’s, coming up with the messaging, and picking the best content. This means that you’ll have to unleash both your creativity and your inner number cruncher. Your KPIs won’t just be about CTR and OR. They will be strictly tied to business impact: LTV, AOV, Gross Revenue, and churn rate.

  • Exploring and scaling new direct marketing channels, including Mobile, SMS, and Web Push. Classic emails are great, but we need to catch gamers where they are, with a special focus on tailoring our approach to the Asian and Chinese markets.

  • Managing trigger email campaigns throughout the customer lifecycle to maximise sales. It’s not all about regular weekly sendouts - email campaigns can be an exciting journey and you will be the architect of those journeys.

  • Implementing automation into our daily marketing workflows. Manually crafting every single sendout is a thing of the past - your goal is to automate the repetitive tasks so you can focus on the big-picture strategy.

  • Deploying independent No-Code and Low-Code solutions. In a fast-paced environment, waiting for IT isn't always an option, so your ability to implement smart workarounds and quick tech fixes will be a massive asset.

  • Coordinating projects with external tech providers and internal stakeholders. You will be the point person for seamlessly integrating new, innovative marketing tools into our current GOG ecosystem.

  • A/B testing of campaigns in order to make the best improvements in the long-term direct marketing strategy.

  • Preparing weekly KPI tracking reports from all campaigns alongside with conclusions and plans for improvement. Yes, number crunching is important and allows us to improve the strategy and make future actions better and more meaningful.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven Experience: 4+ years of proven experience in e-commerce, gaming, or digital services in roles related to CRM / Direct Marketing. We want to see hard numbers and funnels you’ve built, not just campaigns you "participated in."

  • Technical Proficiency: You have advanced Marketing Automation systems (e.g., SalesManago, HubSpot, GetResponse or similar) at your fingertips and know how to push past their standard limitations.

  • Mobile solutions experience (Web Push, In-App, SMS)

  • Builder Mindset: You get bored with routine tasks. If you see us doing something manually for years, your first instinct is to tear it down and build an automated workflow.

  • Data & Personalization Mastery: Metabase, Google Analytics, and advanced Excel are your natural habitat. You don't guess segments; you pull insights from the database and translate them into precise purchasing paths.

 Pluses (Nice to have):

  • You will have a massive advantage if you can prove success in specific monetization dynamics of Asian markets (especially China).
