We’re looking for a Senior Game Releases Specialist to join our small, versatile crew in daily pursuit of flawless game releases, well-maintained catalog and innovative ideas contributing to GOG’s mission. We want to elevate the gamers and publisher experience on GOG and make sure new titles launch on our platform in style. If you can handle multiple tasks, clients’ last-minute requests all the while thinking on how to improve our processes this is the position for you!

Your role

  • Assuring a high quality and timely release for each game.

  • Coordinating releases and projects with partners and internal stakeholders.

  • Preparing game pages, including descriptions, graphics and metadata.

  • Supervising other teams input to each release with elements of marketing, legal, financial and even technical expertise.

  • Maintaining games before and after launch, taking care of GOG catalog and publisher requests.

  • Taking part in various company-wide projects, providing the expertise related to our team’s work.

  • Searching for innovations and ideas that can improve our daily work and enhance gamers’ and publishers’ experience with GOG

What we’re looking for

  • Excellent communication skills in English (at least C1) - you’ll spend a great deal of your time conversing with publishers and other teams where precision and relevance to the audience is the key

  • Ability to work with various stakeholders and conflicting priorities to keep things moving forward in the ever-changing release calendar

  • Sense of urgency and ownership

  • Great interpersonal skills - you know how to mix diplomacy with assertiveness

  • Curiosity and innovation spirit

  • Attention to detail

  • Being market and business-oriented

  • Sales, marketing or customer relations experience would be a plus

  • Passion for PC games and gaming industry

  • Basic HTML skills

  • Familiarity with Jira / Google Workplace / Microsoft Excel

  • Scripting / Jira automations / AI experience would be a huge plus

  • General knowledge of hardware / software related to gaming
