Key Responsibilities:
- Support sourcing activities and supply base needs across various categories under the guidance of senior team members.
- Assist Category Managers in executing the strategic sourcing process: spend analysis, requirements gathering, RFx creation, and contract negotiations.
- Deliver routine reporting and analysis to support procurement performance tracking.
- Conduct research and communicate insights on market conditions, supplier capabilities, product developments, and industry trends.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on sourcing strategies and supplier performance goals.
Experience & Skills:
- Exposure to supply chain and procurement practices within a regional or global organization.
- Understanding of core procurement principles, such as supplier management, cost reduction, and risk mitigation.
- Experience supporting or coordinating elements of larger procurement or process improvement initiatives.
- Proactive in building relationships with colleagues across different teams and departments.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate large organizations to locate resources, tools, and information effectively.
