P&L Reconciliation & Analysis - Operations

Requirements

• Knowledge of financial instruments and experience with business intelligence tools or automation.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.
• 0-2 years of experience in product control or operations at a hedge fund or bank.
• Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate daily P&L variance reports and finalize Portfolio Manager’s P&L.
• Perform daily and monthly P&L reconciliations for firm portfolios.
• Respond to P&L queries from PMs, traders, and Investment Services.
• Collaborate with middle office, back office, and Valuations teams to resolve P&L breaks for equities, fixed income, and derivatives.
• Improve processes through automation and efficiency enhancements.
