Senior Controller (investment banking)

Location: Warsaw, Hybrid

Employment Type: B2B Contract – 10 months

Salary: 115-123zł/hour (8hour work day)

We are looking for a Senior Investment Banking Controller to join our Client's dynamic team and ensure the completeness, accuracy, and integrity of our financial records while driving meaningful improvements across our processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee end-to-end Banking Controller processes, including daily P&L and Balance Sheet preparation for debt and equity capital markets, and mergers & acquisitions.
• Provide analytical insights into the drivers of financial performance and reporting.
• Lead strategic system implementation projects to improve infrastructure and streamline processes.
• Support standardization efforts and implement process improvement and automation ideas.
• Conduct complex data analysis using industry-standard tools and methodologies.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in finance, accounting, audit, controlling, or a similar department.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Quantitative Methods, Mathematics, or Statistics.
• Professional certifications such as CFA, ACCA, or CIMA are a strong advantage.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, with experience in KNIME, Tableau, or VBA being a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
