Senior Legal & Compliance Analyst
The purpose of the Legal & Compliance function is to ensure that HEINEKEN Krakow complies with specific regulatory requirements and the employees comply with HEINEKEN Kraków internal policies, rules and outside specific regulatory requirements in order to help organization manage risk and maintain a positive reputation.
Senior Legal & Compliance Analyst will support Legal & Compliance Manager in resolving day-to-day issues and mitigating compliance and legal risks within HEINEKEN Kraków for the future.
Legal & Compliance function scope covers areas of: Legal, Code of Business Conduct (COBC), GDPR, and Compliance Risk Management. Legal & Compliance Manager with support of the Legal & Compliance function is empowered to identify any trends or new compliance related risks to the business and advises the Management Team on any remedial actions needed.
Your responsibilities would include:

Legal process - overseeing and coordinating the agreements review and sign-off process from a legal and compliance perspective, including tracking changes and verifying proposals, managing and driving an effective Power of Attorney (POA) sign-off process and ensuring accurate data maintenance, collaborating with the Procurement Officer to maintain an accurate and up-to-date agreements database, providing legal advisory services and overseeing the local third-party due diligence process while supporting the Procurement Officer and internal stakeholders in line with process requirements, coordinating and supervising the preparation of corporate legal documentation, supporting the design and implementation of relevant local controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable local laws, regulations, and HEINEKEN Group rules and guidelines, and proposing and driving improvements to existing processes and databases, including participation in relevant projects.

Code of Business Conduct - developing and proposing the implementation of remedial actions and improvements to HEINEKEN Kraków internal processes, procedures, and policies, overseeing and engaging in the preparation and consultation of the COBC training plan as well as supporting attendance tracking, driving governance over COBC materials and documentation at HEINEKEN Kraków, engaging and cooperating with the C&C team and the COBC workgroup regarding communication of COBC-related issues within the company, assisting the Legal & Compliance Manager in day-to-day activities related to COBC areas such as bribery, gifts, entertainment, hospitality and donations, money laundering and sanctions, conflict of interest, insider dealing, intellectual property, and confidential information, and cooperating with other HEINEKEN Kraków teams on COBC matters by providing responses to day-to-day queries.

GDPR - supporting and assisting in the performance of daily tasks related to data privacy, supporting and assisting in the preparation of PIA/DPIA evaluations, taking part in the promotion of GDPR compliance at HEINEKEN Kraków, proposing improvements to current processes, and performing any other tasks assigned by the Legal & Compliance Manager within the scope of functional responsibilities.

You are a good candidate if you:

hold a Master’s degree in law.

have knowledge and experience in the practical application of regulations such as GDPR and anti-bribery laws, supported by at least 3 years of experience in audit, compliance, or legal fields

demonstrate the highest degree of personal integrity combined with sound business judgment

are able to develop a detailed understanding of both the business and external risks

have experience operating in complex organizational environments

can successfully manage projects involving multiple stakeholders to deliver compliant outcomes

possess strong investigative skills and are prepared to challenge the status quo

are proficient in written and oral communication in English and Polish.
