Senior Analyst, Business Assurance

About the role:
As a Senior Analyst in Business Assurance within the GBS global Service Management team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Business Assurance and Continuous Process Improvement initiatives of the global GBS organization. Your responsibilities will include performing relevant tasks with a strong focus on process improvements deriving from assurance reviews. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to enhance operational excellence and ensure compliance within a fast-paced, innovative environment through a combination of independent oversight and collaborative efforts.
In this role, you will:
- Support the GBS services delivery organization in enhancing the control environment, improving business processes, and achieving business objectives across GBS functions (Finance, HR, Member Services, Member Operations)
- Drive and monitor process improvement initiatives deriving from assurance activities
- Assist the Business Assurance lead in conducting regular process risk assurance and providing ongoing assistance to GBS functions
- Support global CPI lead in realization of global CPI framework
- Analyze root causes of issues and advise/collaborate in definition of remediation plans
- Perform regular self-testing to ensure compliance with Corporate/Finance/HR Policies, SOX, and other requirements
- Ensure that documentation and policies for all processes within GBS are maintained and updated regularly
- Maintain proper segregation of duties by centrally controlling restricted access to Oracle
- Provide support for managing restricted access to internal tools and/or applications when necessary
Our requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in Audit or Control functions
- Proficiency in MS Office and Oracle (or another ERP system) with at least 2 years of experience
- Advanced knowledge and practical experience with Excel
- Familiarity with Shared Services or Outsourcing Centre environments
- Experience with process improvements methodologies
- Experience working in a multicultural, international setting with an understanding of regional accounting practices and the regulatory environment
- Higher education in accounting or finance
- Solid knowledge of local corporate and income taxes, local GAAP, and US GAAP
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to gain agreement and consensus
- A customer-focused mindset with ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders
- Very good level of English – minimum C1 level.
