About the role:

In this role, you will act as a finance business partner in providing robust financial planning and analysis & commercial support for the Central Functions of the EMEA Region. Also acts as an intermediary between GBS Krakow FP&A team and Central Functions. You will provide information in ref to the matrix structure of central functions in sub-regions and countries, to measure relevant performance targets and to help in forecasting and planning accordingly to steer Country and Regional finances to achieve desired financial, operational, and strategic objectives. This role also has the key responsibility in assess central projects and respective approvals.


In this role you will:

  • Be responsible for leading, managing and execution of the Central Functions’ financial planning, Headcount and OPEX forecasting, long-range planning, scenario testing and budgeting processes,
  • Preparing of presentation, participation and presenting at the certain forecast and budget review meetings,
  • Developing monthly management reports and other ad hoc reports to highlight business issues and support in recommendations for performance improvement and ensure these reports are produced by the agreed deadlines,
  • Working closely with Functional departments to define performance indicators and implement new reporting tools,
  • Play a support role in in the Financial Reporting Center of Excellence group and act as a bridge to gap EMEA Functional reporting requirements to system capacity, capabilities and delivery, while applying global best practices,
  • Manage and support the relationship between EMEA Functional Leads and GBS Krakow FP&A team on Budgets, Forecast and any other support to maintain good service level and deliver expectations,
  • Evaluate and review monthly forecasts, business plans/schedules and budgets; consolidate data for the region,
  • Support in identifying risks/opportunities and necessary action steps in response to key variances; research and prepare complete responses to questions arising during monthly financial review meetings with EMEA FP&A Director and EMEA Senior Management,
  • Support for the development of complex forecasting and modeling techniques.

Our Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience gained within an International / Multi-national company, preferably with a US parent,
  • 3 years or more of experience in FP&A or management reporting area with exposure to high level management- VPs, Country Directors,
  • CIMA / ACCA certification or equivalent would be an advantage,
  • In-depth knowledge of PC-based budgeting tools, both use and implementation; proficient with Microsoft Excel.
  • Fluent in English, other languages advantageous,
  • Experience with a full spectrum of financial analysis - forecasting and modeling techniques, complex data analysis, and providing business insight,
  • Business oriented with the ability to demonstrate strategic thinking by understanding the business environment and its players,
  • Strong interpersonal skills, loyal, team player capable of communicating at all level of the organization.
  • Able to work under pressure, deliver to tight deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
  • Proven ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment, and to lead and drive complex operational initiatives.
