About the role:

As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for auditing the operations and financial information of various departments within the organization to ensure accuracy and compliance with policies, procedures, US GAAP and applicable local GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley Section, good business practices, government guidelines, and laws. You will identify and report on findings, as well as make recommendations to improve policies or procedures accordingly.

In this role, you will:

• Be responsible for audits assigned within the EMEA region. Occasionally may support a project in another region,
• Audit key company operations for compliance and efficiency including financial and operational controls (75-80%) and SOX controls (20-25%)
• Work with management to identify and report on internal control weaknesses and recommend efficient means for improvement,
• Work with management to plan, implement and complete audits within a reasonable amount of time,
• Take reasonable steps to minimize the amount of business disruption that can occur during an audit,
• Coordinate and assist SOX compliance and testing activities within EMEA. Proper SOX compliance encompasses complete process documentation, identification of control weaknesses, appropriate
• testing results and evaluation of control effectiveness,
• Annual travel may include up to 10–20 % of the time,
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Our Requirements:

• 2-4 years of auditing experience/internal control, including SOX experience,
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Auditing,
• Ability to quickly understand company objectives, assess risks and evaluate controls,
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills and the ability to meet deadlines,
• Excellent communication skills and interact effectively at all levels with sensitivity to cultural diversity,
• Able to prepare clear, organized, and concise work papers and other documentation that supports testing,
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications,
• A team player with strong customer skills and experience in delivering timely results,
• Chartered Accountant (CA) as a plus,
• Big 4 public accounting auditing experience as a plus.
