Chief Accountant

Location: Niepołomice

Main Tasks:

• Entry book-keeping of general ledger, invoicing, fixed assets,
• Entry book-keeping of general ledger, invoicing,
• Preparing tax and other declarations,
• Cooperation and supervision of others Accounting Team Members and other company departments,
• Care of correctness and on target duties execution, in compliance with Polish Accounting Standards and internal company requirements,
• Continuous following of all formal and legislative changes concerning accounting standards,
• Preparing various reports and analysis based on SAP data base source for internal needs,
• Collecting data and preparing information and reports for company’s budget formation,
• Preparing Financial Statement and group reports,
• Manage contacts with banks, auditors, Board members, Tax authorities, etc.,
• Prepare the Budget and is responsible for the respect of the Company/Group procedures and practices.

Requirements:

• Higher professional education (accountancy, economy, finance)
• 8-10 years of experience in accountancy, experience in preparing all declarations to tax office and other institutions
• At least 2–3 years of experience in managing a team,
• Be proficient in English and Polish speaking and writing,
• Experience in the accountancy department of a production company is welcome
• Very good knowledge of Polish Accounting Standards
• Practical knowledge of tax and other declarations preparing,
• Very good practical knowledge of SAP system preferable or other similar financial-accounting system
• Practical knowledge in scope of budgeting, reporting and Cash Flow statements preparing is a must
• Practical knowledge of MS Office: Excel, Word
• High level of analytical skills
• Very good work organization
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
