Role Overview:  

As an Accounts Payable Specialist within the Global Business Services Hub in Kraków, you will play a vital role in supporting business entities across the EMEA region. You will be responsible for various key functions, including invoice processing, invoice payments, invoice queries, supplier and internal stakeholder management and actively contributing to process improvement initiatives.

Role Responsibilities: 

  • Processing of PO and non-PO invoices and following up on approvals

  • Ensure invoices are processed in line with local accounting and tax requirements

  • Handling invoice queries and escalations from suppliers

  • Preparing payment proposals to ensure timely and accurate outgoing payments.

  • Follow up and resolution of blocked invoices and pro-actively address AP aged open items

  • Solve errors in a most efficient way

  • Prepare, understand, and review monthly account reconciliations.

  • Be responsible for assigned legal entities, including vendor open items (VOI) and Goods Receipt No Invoice (GRNI).

  • Perform follow ups to ensure timely closing of outstanding item continuity.

  • Proactively reach out to stakeholders to initiate process improvements.

  • Partner to ensure updated documentation is in place.

  • Guarantee the compliance of our organizational regulations and contribute to internal or external SOX and Internal Audit controls.


Experience and Competencies: 

What we are looking for: 

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferably master.

  • At least 1 year of work experience in Accounts Payable.

  • Preferably, previous professional experience gained in a Shared Services environment.

  • Excellent knowledge of English.

  • Knowledge of another language will be an additional asset.

  • Advanced Excel skills.

  • Knowledge of SAP required.

  • Strong communication skills to interact with people in different locations and at different levels in the organization.

  • Very good analytical skills.

  • Excellent teamwork skills.

  • Proactive, career-focused attitude with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
