Boiler Supervisor

The consortium of Hyundai Engineering Poland Sp. z o. o. Tecnicas Reunidas SA Sp. jawna in connection with the construction project of the Olefin III complex in Płock is looking for candidates for the position:

BOILER SUPERVISOR

Position overview: The Boiler Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of installation, erection, quality, testing and commissioning activities related to industrial boilers within Oil & Gas and petrochemical projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, international codes and HSE requirements.

Your Responsibilities:

• Represent the company’s interests on site towards subcontractors, vendors and third parties during boiler erection and installation activities. Review and ensure compliance with construction and assembly specifications, including erection concepts, schedules and installation procedures.

• Coordinate and clarify technical and organizational interfaces within the discipline and with other departments.

• Supervise, monitor and control erection and assembly activities, ensuring compliance with schedule, quality, cost and technical requirements. Coordinate and manage subcontractors, including participation in coordination meetings and followup of actions.

• Ensure proper control of material deliveries, storage and handling, maintaining traceability and preservation requirements.

• Monitor construction progress continuously and report deviations to the Site Manager, proposing corrective measures when required.

• Perform weekly and monthly performance evaluation of subcontractors in line with project specifications and KPIs.

• Support the Site Manager in the preparation of construction and installation progress reports.

• Document deviations, underperformance or non-conformities of subcontractors to support claims management and contractual assessments. Carry out erection and installation inspections, ensuring readiness for testing, commissioning and handover.

• Ensure full compliance with HSE requirements and safe working practices.

Qualifications & experience:

• Mechanical Engineer or equivalent technical qualification.

• Minimum 6-8 years of experience in industrial boiler supervision within Oil & Gas, petrochemical or power generation projects.

• Solid knowledge of boiler erection, testing, commissioning and maintenance activities.

• Familiarity with ASME codes, PED requirements, welding and NDT processes.

• Proven experience working with international vendors and subcontractors in EPC projects.

• Good command of English (Spoken and written).
