Mechanical Engineer (FEA)

In connection with expansion of our activities in Poland and Denmark we are looking for a candidate for the position of:

Mechanical engineer (FEA)

Workplace: Gdańsk 

idoc is a Danish engineering company, that provides consulting services within documentation, project management, design and development. For many years we have had a framework agreement with the Danish defence, and at the same time we are suppliers to foreign manufacturers of defence materials and systems. Furthermore, we deliver our specialized solutions to industrial companies in several industries. 

Requirements:

• Engineering Degree and experience within FEA and mechanical design is a requirement, experience with CFD simulation will be considered as advantage
• Experience with CAD 3D software such as Inventor or SolidWorks is a requirement
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Driving license cat. B 
• Quality and result oriented with a high standard of documentation delivery, focus on details is essential

Your key tasks will be:

• Provide Consulting Services: Deliver expert consulting to international companies.
• Perform FEA Calculations: Conduct finite element analysis on mechanical systems.
• Design 3D Mechanical Parts: Create and develop detailed 3D designs for mechanical components.
• Facilitate Communication: Ensure smooth and effective information flow among all team members and stakeholders.
• Report Directly: Communicate directly with the project manager of our international team.

Your Profile:

As a person, it is important that you are self-motivated and entrepreneurial, and at the same time it is a must that you are outgoing and thrive in the consultancy role. As we work in different business cultures and industries, it is also important that you are conversational. 

Being a team player who can also work independently and ability to work in multitask and remote mode is a must.

In addition, you are ambitious and quality conscious and you have a high drive and are positively involved in your work and in your meeting with colleagues and customers. You understand the importance of exchange of experience and sparring with colleagues in the solution of your tasks, as well as prioritizing your participation in collegial meetings.
