About You:

1. you have at least 2 years of experience in sales or business controlling/navigation,
2. you have managerial experience in a dynamic retail environment,
3. you are able to secure the overall financial framework for the store,
4. you understand commercial initiatives and opportunities creating growth,
5. you have the ability to quickly gain a working knowledge of local markets, business conditions and you are interested in the market,
6. you are able to handle a constantly changing environment with many different demands of the market and customers’ needs,
7. you are open for working proactively and taking the lead in analyzing and finding business opportunities for the store unit,
8. you can think out of the box within the frames and you like to learn new things,
9. you are passionate about leading businesses through people
10. you are fluent in both – written and spoken English and Polish.

About the job: Business Navigation Manager works closely with the management group in an inspiring, supportive and challenging way navigating the company towards growth, optimal performance and sustained long-term profitability. He or she has a multi-dimensional view of a customer, commercial, people in a financial and an operational perspective.

Your tasks:

1. Coordinate the Goal/Forecasts processes for the unit, establishing of budgets, communicate and explain goals,
2. Secure the unit’s functional reporting according to common rules and deadlines,
3. Business Partnering: act as strategic and operational business partner, translating business needs into financial consequences and solutions,
4. Highlight discrepancies between goals and actual results in the units and identify corrective actions,
5. Provide the Market Managers and the local management teams with reliable navigation information,
6. Secure and develop a high consciousness of cost within the unit, initiate cost saving activities,
7. Secure the performance measurement and support to improve performance of the major KPIs by being close to operations (organising workshops for business improvement or benchmark activities),
8. Facilitate the decision-making process by providing the Market Managers and the local management teams with tools, analysis and/or evaluations of business potentials,
9. Contribute to the development of IKEA with participation in competence networks.
