illumicell AI is an early-stage TechMed startup revolutionizing fertility diagnostics with advanced AI. Operating out of the Harvard Innovation Labs / Pagliuca Life Lab in Boston, USA, with an R&D office in Zurich, Switzerland.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Full Stack Engineer at illumicell AI. You will play a critical role as our first full-stack engineering hire, taking ownership of the design and development of both the front-end and back-end systems of our web applications. Your contributions will directly shape our technology stack, product architecture, and user experience, while also placing you within the company’s management group.

As a key player in our early-stage journey, flexibility across time zones and a high level of ambition are essential. We expect full dedication to the role, as we build transformative technology and navigate the fast-paced transition from research to commercialization.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Full-Stack Development, encompassing both front-end and back-end web development.
• Proficiency in CSS and a strong attention to design detail.
• Experience with database management systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience in startup environments is strongly preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Ability to work collaboratively and excel in a dynamic, early-stage environment.
