Main purpose of the position:
Our Group Tax function operates as a lean and hands-on team of highly skilled and effective tax professionals. The Financial Reporting & Data Analyst position is a new role at the core of the team. Our new member will be embedded in the management of a wide portfolio of global tax and intercompany related processes. You will be working with our Transfer Pricing Manager and the Head of Tax Operations with an outreach to colleagues in other Headoffice functions and across the world.
You’ll be immersed in our data and information collection and validation activities, and in running and improving the engines and algorithms that control the transaction charges between companies in the ISS group. In addition, you will be structuring and communicating of the resulting charges both internally and to external stakeholders such as tax authorities will be another key element in your daily work. In this position, you will work with extensive intercompany data, support financial and tax-related calculations, enhance existing tools, and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across a global organization.This role is ideal for candidates with an accounting background who possess a strong understanding of financial statements, reporting, and data analysis. It offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to grow in process optimization and automation, while gaining hands-on experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools. What you’ll do:
Participate in the identification and quantification of corporate management services and the calculation and communication of management fees
Assist in the management, costing and charging of global corporate products
Participate in setting global transfer pricing policies, support the preparation of transfer pricing documentation, TP tax audits, and BEPS Pillar 2 reporting
Update and maintain overviews of ISS’ global corporate structure
Maintain and improve our tools/templates/agreements for intercompany calculations and reporting
Use Excel and other BI tools to automate and streamline repetitive tasks
Work with large volumes of financial data – structure it, validate it, and help generate insights
Create ad-hoc reports for various stakeholders across finance, tax, and operations
Act as a communication bridge – follow up with stakeholders, coordinate data delivery, and track deadlines
Who you’ll work with:
You’ll be reporting to our Transfer Pricing Manager who will be your closest ally, and working on a daily basis with the Group Tax team, especially our Head of Group Tax Operations
In our Group Headoffice your main stakeholders will be finance colleagues and product owners and managers in other functional areas
You’ll be in ongoing contact with finance and tax colleagues in ISS offices across the world
The role also entails interactions with tax authorities internationally
Key qualifications:
A solid Accounting background from the inhouse finance functions and/or the finance consultancy industry
Hands-on experience in building reports, data analysis and extracting meaningful insights
Familiarity with financial statements
Strong skills in Excel (ability to build and maintain VBA/macros is definitely preferred)
Excellent capabilities ERP and/or consolidation finance systems
Nice to have:
Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools (Tableau, Qlik, etc.), Power Query
Finance/accounting/economy or similar degree at Bachelor level or higher
Interest in – or previous experience with - international taxation or Transfer Pricing

You are communicative and comfortable working with a wide variety of stakeholders across the organization
