Test Engineer (Telco experience)

We are looking for team player to fill Test Engineer position in a dynamic international project from telco industry.

Responsibilities:

• Execute test cases for billing-related flows and customizations.

• Log, track and verify defects.

• Support SIT and UAT phases.

• Prepare test data and validate billing scenarios.

Requirements

• Software Testing Qualifications Knowledge of Telecoms Industry 

• Knowledge of BSS solutions

• Basic understanding of client requirements and CSG software product solutions

• 4+ years’ experience of test automation and of automation frameworks and tools and languages

• Detailed knowledge of Git, Jenkins, Maven and IDE (e.g Intellij, Eclipse)

• 1+ year experience with C, C ++, Java or Python

• Experience in developing and executing test plans and scripts

• Experience in planning, managing and executing system integration activities

• Experience with multi-user, complex software applications Ability to cultivate effective working relationships with internal teams and customers

• Experience with Agile Software development methodologies

• Able to gain a detailed of understanding of client requirements from documentation. Strong Knowledge of Jira, Confluence and Zephyr

• 2+ years experiance with Azure Dev Ops, managing repo’s building pipelines and managing test plans and progress.

• 2+ years experience with C#

• 2+ years experience with Java Scripting. 2+ years experience with Cypress.io

• Ability to work independently knowing when to request assistance, escalating challenges or guidance from senior members of the team, and to self organize.

• Strong understanding of testing methodologies (Agile and Waterfall)

• Experience testing Angular, HTML and CSS.

• Excellent verbal and written communication to effectively convey and clarify complex information

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in a business environment at a high level.

• Relevant Degree or Diploma in Information Technology; Computer Science, Engineering or Business (with major in Computing) or 6-8 years related work experience in Software Testing or Development
