Responsibilities:

• Provision of analytical support to projects across the spectrum of our transportation planning business

• Development and use of data processing tools to provide high quality inputs to modelling and appraisal activities

• Works independently with macro and microsimulation modelling with minimal guidance

• Resource for colleagues with less experience

• Attendance at technical Client meetings as required to present findings and outcomes of analytical work

• Contribution to authoring technical reports and notes documenting work undertaken

Here's what you'll need

• A Bachelor's or a Master’s degree in a discipline such as Transportation, Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering or related

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in transport/transport systems planning, traffic modelling and forecasting

• Experience and knowledge of traffic, socio-demographic and economic data

• Knowledge of analytical tools: VISUM (knowledge of VISSIM is welcome)

• Knowledge of supporting analytical tools: GIS, AutoCAD, Microstation

• Experience in writing technical reports and presentations

• Data analysis and communication skills

• High interpersonal skills enabling work both independently and within a multidisciplinary, multicultural team

• Good level of English
