We are an international engineering company providing services in the field of technical consulting, design, and investment project management. Global Business Services center located in Krakow provide global support for our line of business and corporate teams in the following areas:

GBS centralizes some of the processes across Jacobs and focuses on process excellence while also advancing the transformation initiative through additional work migration.


As a Learning Experience Designer, you will guide the design and development for learning offerings in support of organizational development goals, with a strong focus on leadership and executive growth. This includes learning offerings available company-wide, with an emphasis on globally inclusive learning experiences. You will also be responsible for representing and integrating this design strategy into the broader organization’s strategy and representing the work to senior stakeholders.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Design and develop inspiring learning experiences, including programs for senior leaders, that motivate behavior change, ensuring the experiences are globally accessible, inclusive, and scalable.
  2. Develop and design instructional materials, including blended learning programs that combine instructor-led training, experiential learning activities, job aids, e-learning and other learning resources.
  3. Conduct needs assessments and analyze performance gaps to identify learning objectives and requirements tailored for leadership-level and executive audiences.
  4. Create and curate content that is engaging, interactive, and aligned with adult learning principles.
  5. Integrate various learning modalities, such as workshops, simulations, on-the-job training, and digital resources, to create comprehensive learning experiences.
  6. Implement evaluation methods to assess the effectiveness of instructional materials and programs, making data-driven improvements as needed.
  7. Work closely with SMEs, trainers, and other stakeholders to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
  8. Work closely with external providers to tailor learning programs to the company's culture and specific needs.
  9. Manage multiple instructional design projects from needs analysis through launch and evaluation, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  10. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in instructional design and learning technologies.

Here's what you'll need

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in leadership development or instructional design, with a strong portfolio of developed learning materials, particularly in blended learning and experiential programs.
  3. Experience working with stakeholders at all levels, including senior and executive leaders.
  4. Experience managing learning design projects from needs analysis through launch and evaluation, across a multitude of modalities (online, mobile, virtual, in-person), ideally in a global organization.
  5. Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools (Storyline, Rise, etc.) and LMS platforms is a plus.
  6. Relevant certifications in instructional design or learning development are a plus.

  1. Hybrid (6 days/month from our Krakow office) or stationary working model - depending on your preferences
  2. Flexible working hours (we start between 7:30-10:00)
