Accounting Manager

We’re looking for a reliable and detail-focused Accounting Manager to join our accounting team in Poland. In this role, you’ll manage core general ledger activities for our Polish legal entity, contribute to accurate closings, support statutory reporting, and help optimize processes as we grow. You’ll work closely with colleagues in payroll, tax, FP&A, HR, and our international accounting teams to ensure alignment and compliance at both the local and group level.

What You’ll Do

• Manage general ledger operations and bookkeeping processes for the Polish entity.

• Lead book-closing routines and prepare journal entries, including bank reconciliations.

• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data and reporting.

• Monitor and analyze accounting records in line with local statutory requirements.

• Support the preparation of statutory reports and audits.

• Apply appropriate accounting methods and policies in line with Polish regulations and group standards.

• Collaborate with internal teams across Payroll, Tax, HR, Controlling, and Group Finance.

• Provide local accounting insights and contribute to financial decision-making.

• Identify areas for process improvement and support scalable solutions as the company grows.

• Ensure compliance with statutory deadlines and financial controls.

• Contribute to global initiatives and cross-border collaboration in finance.

About You

You bring strong operational accounting experience and a problem-solving mindset. You’re confident working under Polish accounting standards and within international frameworks, and you enjoy contributing to both routine execution and strategic improvements.

What We’re Looking For:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Solid experience in accounting operations for a Polish entity within an international group.

• Strong understanding of bookkeeping, general ledger, and closing activities.

• Experience with statutory reporting, management accounting, and financial instruments.

• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial documentation.

• Familiarity with financial systems and Excel; NetSuite experience is a plus.

• Knowledge of Polish and international accounting standards.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

• A proactive, independent approach with a collaborative mindset.

• Fluent English (spoken and written).
