Role Overview:


Junior Compliance Specialist supports the Head of Compliance in promoting and delivering all aspects of quality, information & physical security, business continuity, health & safety and sustainability across the business. A key focus of the role is assisting with maintaining and continuously improving The Integrated Management System (IMS).


Responsibilities:


  • Manage and Improve the company IMS and support the generation of IMS documentation and document control
  • Assist in ensuring ongoing certification to relevant business qualifications and ISO standards
  • Assist in ensuring compliance to relevant legislation, regulations, standards, customer requirements and company standards and specifications
  • Support the delivery of IMS awareness training to all colleagues
  • Support the Preparation and maintainance of a programme of external audits and assist in all certification related audits
  • Contribute to responses to all customer questionnaires and customer audits
  • Contribute to the investigation of complaints and non conformities whilst also facilitating the implementation of corrective actions
  • Identify areas for information secuirty, sustainability, business continuity and quality control improvements. Highlight / implement new methods and practices accordingly
  • Contribute to team meetings as well as business planning and delivery projects
  • Contribute to the development of cross-business documents, forms and templates
  • Help maintain and improve relevant business communication and record management tools
  • Assist in the investigation and development of any new business standards or qualifications that may be required
  • Assist with any other relevant business needs and requirements
  • Work closely with the Data Protection Officer (DPO) as required


Requirements:


  • Great educational background, preferably in the fields of integrated management systems, business management, certification auditing and continual improvement
  • Demonstrable experience of supporting a wide-ranging business IMS including ISO 9001 and ISO 27001
  • Experience delivering internal and supplier audits
  • An understanding for data protection legislation and regulations, including the GDPR.
  • Solid organisational skills including attention to detail, report writing and multi-tasking skills
  • Exceptional level of written and verbal Polish and English  
  • The ability to communicate effectively with all levels of colleague, customer and supplier
  • The ability to engage with colleagues, challenge existing practices and support a culture of continual improvement
  • Demonstrable experience of working in a multilingual, multi-cultural environment. Preferably in UK/ Poland/ Nordics
  • Verifiable track record of supporting the delivery continual business improvements


Qualifications:


  • Appropriate 1st level degree and/or relevant business experience
  • Relevant professional qualification(s) – These may include some of the following: Internal/ Lead Auditor, Diploma/Certificate in Quality Manager, Information Security Practioner, Business Continuity Practitioner, Sustainability Practitioner

Please note that this role will require you to occasionally work from our office in Warsaw for a full day or two full days at a time.
