Your responsibilities
- Establish and maintain daily, weekly and monthly production planning programs for Board and Flooring production.
- Work with sales and production management to track execution of production plans and create/adjust production forecasts accordingly,
- Communicate with production management to ensure proper raw material quantities for new products and customer trials and samples,
- Implement planning strategies in order to maximize customer fill rates, minimize distressed sales, and minimize forecast error,
- Participate in meetings with Logistics, Accounting, Customer Service and Production departments, regarding issues with customers, service, etc.,
- Schedule and direct Production Planning Meetings and track production performance to schedule,
- Coordinate production material requirements with Sales/Marketing, Purchasing, and Operations to assure adequate inventory of raw materials and packaging components,
- Monitor inventory levels and inventory control parameters (raw materials, finished goods) to meet the needs of changing business conditions.
