Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in petrochemical and refinery projects? Our client — a global leader in engineering and industrial gas solutions — is looking for a skilled professional to join their team in Kraków. If you’re passionate about large-scale, international projects and want to play a key role in designing critical electrical infrastructure, this opportunity is for you.


Key responsibilities

  • Design and engineering of electrical systems for petrochemical, refinery, and energy projects
  • Leadership of Electrical discipline within the project, including planning, supervision, and quality assurance
  • Preparation of complete project documentation: single-line diagrams, protection/control schematics, terminal diagrams, and substation layouts
  • Execution of electrical calculations: short circuit, load flow, cable sizing, lighting intensity, grounding, and lightning protection
  • Layout design: consumer locations, cable tray routing, lighting systems, grounding grids
  • Development of hazardous area classifications and related documentation
  • Supervision and coordination with internal disciplines, clients, and vendors
  • Preparation of inquiry packages and evaluation of vendor offers
  • Participation in FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests)
  • Site supervision and support for erection and commissioning phases
  • Input for subcontracting and BoQ preparation
  • Ensuring project documentation meets contractual and industry standards


Ideal candidate profile

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 8+ years of experience in industrial plant engineering, ideally in MV/LV systems (HV is a plus)
  • Proven ability to independently lead electrical scope in international projects
  • Skilled in coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Fluent in English (German or other languages is a plus)
  • Familiar with engineering tools and software: AutoCAD, Dialux, MS Office (ETAP or similar power system analysis tools are a plus)
  • High interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel (3–6 month assignments globally)
  • Comfortable working in multicultural teams
