Are you an experienced Process Engineer Electrolysis looking for an opportunity to work on large-scale industrial projects? Our client, a global leader in industrial gas solutions, is seeking a skilled professional to join their engineering team. This is a unique chance to contribute to cutting-edge projects in industries such as refining, petrochemicals, energy, and gas processing.
Key responsibilities
- Create safe, reliable, efficient, and innovative technological solutions tailored to customer needs
- Maintain and share knowledge about electrolysis technology and related systems
- Develop process designs, such as simulations (AspenPlus), process flow diagrams (PFDs, P&IDs), and control and safety concepts
- Execute projects including equipment design, hydraulic calculations, specification of safety devices, selection of instrumentation, pipeline design, development of plant layout, and preparation of technical documentation.
- Participate in review meetings (HAZOP/SIL, model reviews, etc.)
- Collaborate with other departments, clients, and vendors, including participation in review meetings
- Potential involvement in plant commissioning and start-up support
Ideal candidate profile
- Master Degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemistry or similar
- At least 3 years of experience in a design company as Process Engineer
- Knowledge of software tools: process simulation like AspenPlus, HYSYS; HTRI
- Fluency in English is a must (at least B2 level)
- Passion for technical challenges, innovative and solution-driven mindset
- Technical skills: heat exchanger calculations, process simulation, PFD/P&ID , hydraulic calculation (line sizing, CV, pumps), utlity systems - specification, safety valves - system analysis and PSV calculation
