As Back Office Services SME - Outsourcing Engagement Manager, you will oversee outsourced back office services for bank and agency brokerage trades across Equities, FX, Futures, and Fixed Income Bonds.
Responsibilities include managing documentation, controlling outsourced functions, ensuring compliance with internal requirements, and monitoring service quality.
You will ensure all governance and documents are current, supervise processing, escalate issues as needed, and provide technical expertise and leadership to the team, fostering effective communication and teamwork.

What you will be responsible for:
Ensure the outsourcing documentation is complete and updated
Perform defined internal controls throughout the phases of the lifecycle of the outsourcing arrangements, including the planning, implementation, monitoring, and management of outsourcing arrangements
Manage the contractual relationships, including evaluating and monitoring the ability of the service provider to fulfill the conditions included in the written outsourcing agreement to ensure ongoing compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements
Oversee the day-to-day management of the outsourced functions and/or services, ensuring that an appropriate flow of information with service providers is maintained. This includes setting the frequency of the performance of internal controls on a risk-based approach, considering the minimum requirements for the cadence of the performance of internal controls
Oversee the operational structure of the outsourced functions, including retaining a clear and transparent overview
Oversee risks relating to current and planned outsourcing arrangements, ensuring that they are adequately identified, assessed, managed, and mitigated
Take appropriate corrective or remedial action if shortcomings in the provision of the outsourced functions are identified, including by following up on an indication that service providers may not be carrying out the outsourced function effectively or in compliance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements
Organize and host regular Service Review Meetings and ensure proper documentation
Ensure the Outsourcing Portfolio Manager and other relevant stakeholders are promptly informed of persisting or material shortcomings in the provision of outsourced functions
Ensure the Outsourcing Office is promptly informed of material changes and/or severe events pertaining to individual outsourcing arrangements that could have a material impact on business activities or represent non-compliance with applicable regulatory requirements
Ensure appropriate documentation and record keeping
Report accordingly as per agreed escalation path
Be familiar with team corporate documentation on processes, procedures, and controls
Participate in recurring procedure revision and updates
Co-participate in the development, testing, and implementation of new systems and products within his/her department
Be familiar with Company and Departmental policies
Support solving more complex exceptions and respective escalation
Participate in projects and process enhancements
Our requirements:
7+ years of experience in Back Office services (in one or more areas: settlements, onboarding, regulatory reporting, AML, collateral, confirmations) in bank and/or agency brokerage
At least C1 English (written and oral)
Skills in MS Office, with particular emphasis on MS Excel and MS Word
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, commitment, and diligence
Flexibility & very good organization of work
Ability to work in a team as well as independently
Experience in the banking field, knowledge, and understanding of banking products and settlements
Pro-active approach, with initiative, detail-oriented, and reliable
Level of Education:
At least Bachelor's degree (preferred). Specialization in Banking or Finance would be an asset
Previous Level of Experience: 15 years of professional experience in financial services industry
