Your role and main tasks

Goal of the Position: 

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our international translation team. As an online shop, we prioritize providing accurate and engaging product description texts to our Dutch-speaking customers. To achieve this, we are looking for talented translators to work remotely from their home office or in our beautiful offices in Munich or Wrocław. 

We utilize a CAT-Tool to streamline our translation process, ensuring efficiency and consistency throughout our content creation, including quality controls to help us ensure that all product information and pictures meet our standards of ethics and quality.

Daily tasks of the position: 

• Translate product description texts from German to Dutch for our online shop. 
• You will take over the organisational responsibility for a small team of students (e.g. time planning and coordination processes). 
• You will attend & lead team meetings to collaborate and share insights with colleagues 
• As a coordinator, you represent the management and communicate with them. 
• You will independently take on topic-related projects (e.g. team-internal workshops) 
• In our team, you will be the person responsible for maintaining our high standard in Dutch translations. 
• Support us in checking the quality of the campaigns that start every day according to various aspects such as quality and ethics. 
• You will always be supported by a great team with helpful colleagues and a cordial cooperation 
• You collaborate with colleagues from other departments and support our IT department in the further development of our tools by testing and evaluating new features. 

You will need

Professional requirements for the candidate:

• Proficient in German (B1) and Dutch (C1), with Dutch proficiency at B2 level also considered.
• Communicative English skills are desirable, as you will be working in an international environment. Polish language skills are considered an asset.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently, ensuring structured and accurate translations.
• You are a team player and not afraid to speak up or support your colleagues.
• You have an eye for details and enjoy improving processes.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Office package is preferred.
