What we need:
Based in our Poland office, you will be responsible for the day-to-day reporting for the finance entity/subsidiary including preparation of the management accounts ensuring all accounting, treasury and tax-related queries are dealt with on a timely basis. You will be expected to manage and take ownership of entity accounts and contribute to the consolidated accounts, taking responsibility for the month-end close process, annual audit and relationships with banking partners.
What you'll be doing:
- Responsibility for monthly financial and management reporting for the legal entities, including review of the monthly journals, reconciliations and management accounts
- Ensure the relevant Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet positions are correctly reported daily and at month end, and ensure the relevant reconciliations are carried out in a timely manner and exceptions raised to Management
- Leading the relationship management with global banking providers
- Managing cash reconciliations, payment runs, budgeting, tax and KPI reporting for the entity
- Review of intercompany and fixed asset accounting
- Overall responsibility at the legal entity level for the financial system, processes, and controls
- Managing the AP team postings to ensure all supplier invoices are appropriately coded and posted within month-end accounts
- Employee expenses process
- Assisting the Financial Controller in ad-hoc projects and tasks e.g. forecasting and other regulatory requirements
- Overall responsibility for annual accounts and audit of entities supported
- Mentoring and developing junior members of the team
You'll have:
- Preferably completed accounting qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or AAT) or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of industry experience in Management Accounts or equivalent position
- Experience as the point of contact for banking partners
- Experience in using NetSuite is a bonus
- Excellent Excel skills
- Excellent skills in communication, be able be able to work to deadlines and be self-motivated
- Experience within the technology space is preferred
- Experience with commercial contracts
