Work place: Kraków or remote

Tasks:

• Manage and ensure accurate accounting processes in compliance with local regulations and company policies

• Prepare and review  returns, ensuring timely submission and accuracy

• Coordinate with internal teams and external authorities to resolve VAT-related issues

• Maintain detailed documentation of VAT transactions and support audit processes

• Monitor changes in VAT legislation and implement necessary adjustments to internal procedures

• Assist in process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance in VAT reporting

• Provide guidance and support to colleagues regarding VAT-related matters

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in accounting or related financial roles, preferably within an international environment (VAT/TAX/GL)

• Strong knowledge of local VAT legislation and compliance requirements

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel

• Relevant professional certification (e.g., VAT certification, ACCA, CIMA) is advantageous

• Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
