For our client we are looking for Data Privacy Engineer (Digital Functional Analyst).


The Operations Analyst serves as the critical link between business stakeholders and Agile development teams, ensuring that solutions align with organizational goals and deliver value.


Responsibilities:


1. Requirements Analysis and Documentation:

  • Engage with stakeholders to gather and clarify business needs
  • Create and update Product Documentation to reflect the current state of the applications
  • Analyze and document requirements as Epics, Features, and User Stories, ensuring they align with business objectives
  • Define acceptance criteria for user stories to guide development and testing

2. Scrum Process Participation:

  • Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize and maintain the product backlog
  • Support Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
  • Ensure that requirements are broken down into manageable increments and delivered iteratively

3. Support and Maintenance

  • Configuring and testing new functionalities and maintaining the OneTrust tool (Assessment Automation, Data Mapping, Privacy Rights Automation, Cookie Compliance, Consent and other modules as required)
  • Providing guidance to the end users on the daily use of the tools
  • Analyze and resolve day-to-day questions or challenges from other stakeholders
  • Preparing documentation and training materials
  • Preparing scheduled and ad-hoc reports
  • Creating and updating reports and dashboards in Power BI
  • Managing users’ access as a part of User Management process

4. Stakeholder Communication and Alignment:

  • Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize and maintain the product backlog
  • Support Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
  • Ensure that requirements are broken down into manageable increments and delivered iteratively
  • Facilitate requirements workshops and discussions to achieve consensus on priorities

5. Quality Assurance and Validation:

  • Collaborate with business and QA teams to review and validate test cases against acceptance criteria
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure that the new functionalities meet business needs

6. Continuous Improvement:

  • Contribute to process optimization
  • Identify areas for improvement in requirement-gathering, documentation, and delivery processes

Qualifications:

  • Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., CSPO, Certified Scrum Master, or SAFe Agilist)
  • 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in an Agile environment
  • Strong proficiency in writing Epics, Features, and User Stories with clear acceptance criteria
  • Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies, including participation in ceremonies
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar
  • Practical knowledge of OneTrust or other privacy tech applications desirable but not a must
  • Intermediate level of Power BI
  • HTML/CSS knowledge required
  • REST API/Postman knowledge 
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, MS365 portfolio of tools (incl. Power Automate, Stream, Clipchamp)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure effective requirement gathering and solution design
  • Practical knowledge of privacy programs and relevant privacy laws
  • OneTrust certifications
  • IAPP certification (CIPP/E or other privacy related certifications)
  • Familiarity with Recruitment, Workforce Management domain
  • Experience in Risk Assessment methodologies
