Tasks:

• Develop and implement strategic procurement plans for metal parts and components, ensuring alignment with project timelines and company objectives

• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and secure favorable terms to optimize cost efficiency and quality

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical specifications and ensure procurement meets technical and quality standards

• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and stay informed about industry trends and innovations

• Monitor supplier performance, conduct evaluations, and implement continuous improvement initiatives

• Coordinate lifecycle management activities, including procurement, maintenance, and end-of-life planning for metal parts and components

• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards throughout the procurement process

• Prepare and present procurement reports and analysis to senior management for strategic decision-making

Required skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus

• Proven experience in strategic procurement, sourcing, or purchasing within the manufacturing or metal parts industry

• Strong negotiation and contract management skills

• Technical knowledge of metal parts and components, including materials, manufacturing processes, and quality standards

• Ability to analyze market trends and supplier performance data to inform procurement strategies

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with suppliers and internal teams

• Fluency in English; additional language skills are advantageous

• Certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, or equivalent are desirable
