Build strong partnerships with our clients to deepen collaboration and execute MW category strategy. Analyze external data & customer insights and come with proposals on opportunities to capitalize on Category growth (improve quality & quantity of distribution and ultimately Mars and total Category performance for customers in scope).


What would be your key responsibilities?

  • Develop and execute category strategies to drive growth and profitability across key channels.

  • Analyze market trends, consumer insights, sales data, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Trade Marketing, and Supply Chain to align category plans with broader business objectives.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, supporting joint business planning and in-store execution.

  • Lead initiatives for our key growth platforms related to shelf/category management.

  • Identify and execute projects to achieve excellent instore execution in line with Picture of Success.

  • Monitor and report on category performance KPIs, identifying risks and opportunities.

  • Champion a data-driven approach to category development and decision-making.


What are we looking for?

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in category management within the FMCG industry.

  • Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field.

  • Demonstrated success in leading category initiatives that resulted in measurable growth.

  • Customer focus in mind with ability to engage, influence and impact retailers by providing guidance on strategic direction of category.

  • Strong analytical mindset – ability to interpret complex data sets and convert insights into strategies.

  • Excellent stakeholder management – confident in influencing and collaborating across internal teams and with external partners.

  • Strong commercial awareness and customer-centric thinking.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Nielsen/IRI data tools, and category management software.

  • Good understanding of annual planning process within a corporation.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both Polish and English.
