Business Development Lead / Sales Lead
Location: Full remote (any cities)

We are looking for a Business Development Lead / Sales Lead to drive the success of the sales function within the organization. You will be responsible for the entire process, from lead generation and qualification to deal closing. Currently, our CEO handles these tasks, so we've decided to hire for this role.
You will collaborate closely with the CEO, a marketing specialist, and pre-sales team members, as well as other departments, to ensure alignment and maximize revenue generation opportunities.
We stick to inbound marketing, avoid common bulk lead generation processes, and do not use Upwork. Our main sources are consultative sales, referrals, partner cooperation, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Work on pipeline and revenue generation
- Communicating with potential clients (right now, we’re only working with the U.S. but are open to other markets)
- Performing sales-related tasks as an individual contributor alongside the CEO
- Identifying new lead generation channels and qualifying leads and opportunities
- Identifying opportunities for renewal
- Maintain and optimize the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely progression of deals
- Continuously analyze and improve sales processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness
- Maintaining our CRM system (we use Pipedrive)
- Expanding the team as needed
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in business development and sales
- Experience within the software development service industry (outsourcing)
- Strong understanding of sales processes and best practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and the software development market
- Ability to thrive in uncertainty, a dynamic environment, and adapt to changing priorities
- Leadership experience and understanding of organizational processes within a team and department
- Proficiency in spoken and written English, as all our clients are US-based
