(Senior) OTC Accountant - Factoring

About Our Client

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a (Senior) OTC Accountant to join their well-established Shared Services Center (SSC) in downtown Warsaw. This position is within the Order to Cash (OTC) Department, and the ideal candidate will bring strong knowledge of OTC processes. Experience with factoring is essential for this role.

Job Description

• Cooperation with other accounting departments
• Collect, analyze and summarize accounting information
• Oversee accounting operations based on accounting principles
• Processing customer receipts into the accounting system
• Perform customer cash collection and dunning procedures
• Handling queries from inside and outside of the company
• Responsible for monthly closing processes
• Keep information confidential and secure them with database backups
• Keep up with financial policies, regulation and legislation
• Work on a daily basis with SAP S/4 HANA
• Consistently meeting individual and team KPIs
• Perform ad hoc task/project assigned by manager from time to time
• Report to OTC Team Leader

The Successful Applicant

• University degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent
• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar role
• Very good knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures
• Strong communication skills
• MS Excel and SAP required
• Good command of spoken and written English is a must. Other language skills are considered a plus
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Well organized and able to work to deadlines
• Experience of working in a shared service center is an advantage
• Experience in factoring process
• Process improvement experience would be an advantage
