- Monthly Closings: Co-responsible for month-end closings, ensuring accuracy through detailed variance analysis
- IT Cost Invoicing: Manage and oversee IT cost billing for all internal Group entities, including explaining the nature and value of charges
- Quarterly IT Cost Reporting: Prepare and report IT cost controls to the parent company
- Financial Oversight: Supervise the correctness and completeness of financial information and reporting for IT Finance Lead
- Project Settlements: Ensure accurate financial settlement of projects, including proper tax treatment determination
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with global stakeholders to align financial goals and strategies
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Participate in preparing and aligning IT cost plans, providing comprehensive analyses of actual results versus budget/forecast, ensuring accuracy and strategic alignment of the planned figures
- Executive Support: Prepare financial data and reports for senior management and fulfil related ad-hoc requests
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline finance and controlling processes for enhanced efficiency
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with non-finance stakeholders to ensure the delivery of reliable financial data and support wider business needs
- Global Projects: Actively participate in various international projects and initiatives
A successful Controlling Specialist (IT Function) should have:
- Education: University degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting
- Experience: 3+ years in controlling, audit, or accounting (essential), experience with SAP FI-CO (essential)
- Languages :Fluency in English (mandatory), German of advantage
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, knowledge of IFRS regulations (advantageous), BI tools (advantageous)
