- Assess client creditworthiness through analysis of financial statements and credit reports.
- Conduct risk assessments to gauge repayment likelihood and exposure.
- Compile credit analysis reports with recommendations on limits and terms.
- Analyze clients' financial health (liquidity, profitability, cash flow).
- Monitor client performance to detect credit risk changes.
- Make informed credit decisions and report findings to senior management.
- Prepare credit risk reports outlining trends, risks, and mitigations.
- Collaborate with sales, finance, and legal teams on credit policies.
- Communicate with clients in French for information and credit explanations.
- Ensure compliance with credit policies and regulatory standards.
- Maintain internal controls to mitigate credit risk and protect assets.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Credit Analyst, preferably within a corporate finance or consulting environment.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, credit analysis, and risk assessment.
- Fluent in French, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both languages.
- Proficiency in financial analysis software and tools.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
