About Our Client

Our client is robust and innovative family owned company operating in distribution of heavy duty vehicles. Due to newly acquired business in Poland, company is looking for Finance Manager with vast experience in accounting and implementation of controlling functions.


Job Description

  • Lead and supervise the accounting team to ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger.
  • Oversee the preparation of statutory financial statements in compliance with Polish Accounting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Responsibility for developing a chart of accounts in accordance with specific reporting standards, controlling requirements and tax law.
  • Responsibility for the procedure of confirming balances with contractors, settling the inventory of company assets, maintaining all accounting records.
  • Preparation of reports and statements for the needs of the management board, banks and external institutions (US, ZUS, GUS, NBP).
  • Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure accurate reporting and regulatory adherence.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
  • Responsible for the invested capital of the business and for its constant optimization.
  • Establish and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity.
  • Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the company's financial stability.


The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
  • Experience in Polish Accounting Standards (PAS).
  • Relevant experience in financial management, including accounting roles.
  • Proven track record in financial planning, reporting, and risk management.
  • Expertise in Polish accounting regulations and tax laws.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem solving attitude.
  • Effective communication skills with fluency in Polish and English.
