For our Client, an international manufacturing company operating in Europe (a well-known PE portfolio company), we are currently looking for the Candidate to hold a position of Group Controlling Manager (HQ level).

Managing of the Controlling Department, developing of a target orientated structure and mindset within the team, reorganization of the current controlling functions both in financial and operational controlling;
- Driving significant improvement of internal and external management reporting (redefining reports structure and content) with reference to critical operational (cost and top-line) and financial KPIs;
- Business Partner for Group management and all internal stakeholders regarding the controlling topics;
- Responsible for budgeting, forecasting and financial planning (including cash flow management);
- Close cooperation with accounting, reporting/treasury functions (including supporting the Accounting Department in periods' closing)
- Act as finance advisory and make recommendations to the Board to allow the business to make informed, strategic, managerial and operational decisions;
- Provide the controlling for Group functions and Group projects;
- Identify potential efficiency/value creation gains and derive recommendations on actions to initiate;
- Take initiatives in harmonizing as well as increasing efficiency and added value of controlling processes and tools.
- Completed financial studies or related (MA Degree);
- At least 7 years' experience in finance area, including min. 3 years' experience on relevant position within complex and dynamic business environment (experience in companies from manufacturing industry would be a strong asset);
- Strong experience in change management, including building controlling teams from the scratch or/and redesigning/optimizing the controlling function in the organization;
- Proven track record of change management - building/reorganization of controlling team, and leadership in critical processes - budgeting process;
- Experience in cooperation with an investment fund will be an undeniable advantage;
- Demonstrated analytical skills and proven ability to manage processes within a dynamic and ambiguous environment, including the ability to analyze complex problems and their impact on the corporate finance;
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, ability to build and maintain relations with key internal clients, including in-depth understanding of business/financial interrelationships;
- Demonstrated managerial skills, including building a high performance collaboration environment and drive engagement within the team;
- Solid knowledge of ERP systems and controlling tools (e.g. BI), including experience in systems implementation;
- Fluent English.
