The Role
This is a creative and operational hybrid role. As a Senior Graphic Designer at MONSOON, you won’t just “design” - you’ll lead the creative output on campaigns, manage freelance collaborators, and help us deliver smart, on-brand visuals at scale. You’ll take on design work yourself (graphics and videos), but when the volume grows, you’ll have access to a curated pool of trusted freelance designers to delegate smaller tasks and ensure nothing gets blocked. Therefore ideal candidate's profile includes:
5+ years of experience in graphic design, ideally in digital advertising or performance marketing
Skilled in creating short-form video content (motion graphics, animations, edits)
Strong understanding of how design impacts marketing performance
Confident using Figma, plus tools like Adobe Suite, Google Suite, Canva, and Slack
Open to using AI tools and experimenting with new workflows
Detail-oriented and delivers polished, error-free work
Proactive, organised, and manages time and output effectively
Clear communicator, fluent in English (written and verbal)
Enjoys collaborating and is engaged, even in a part-time role
Passionate about advertising and stays up to date with trends and campaigns
Prior agency or freelance experience, especially in fast-paced, multi-client environments is a big plus
What You’ll Do
Design engaging static and motion (video) graphics for paid ads, social campaigns, landing pages, newsletter, and presentation for our clients.
Take ownership of design tasks from brief to final delivery - ensuring visuals are brand-aligned and performance-focused.
If needed, manage a small freelance design pool: assign tasks, set expectations, review work, and ensure timelines are met.
Join and sometimes lead a strategic brainstorming and creative sessions to develop campaign concepts and testable ad variations.
Use AI tools, automation, and creative systems to increase the quality, quantity, and speed of design delivery.
Collaborate closely with copywriters, strategists, and performance marketers from the agency to create high-impact campaigns.
Stay up-to-date on advertising trends, design formats, and platform-specific best practices.
