Senior Electrical Design Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer with proven experience in the petrochemical and refining industries. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing electrical systems and preparing technical documentation for industrial installations

Responsibilities:

• Electrical cables, trenches, and tray routing engineering

• Lighting & socket system design, grounding & lightning protection system

• Preparation of various electrical documentation as input data for Substation/Transformer TRS/PO

• Electrical Heat Tracing System – preparation of input documents for electrical subcontractor

• Vendor documentation review and follow-up

• Execution of electrical calculations

• Preparation of layout drawings (consumer location, cable tray routing, lighting, grounding)

• Preparation of installation typicals and material take-off

Required Skills:

• Fluent English (working language)

• Ability to cooperate within the organization, with customers and vendors

• Eagerness to work in a multicultural team

• Computer skills: MS Office, AutoCAD, Dialux (or similar)

• High interpersonal skills

• 5+ years of experience in a plant engineering company as an Electrical Engineer (industrial installations included)

• Experience in MV/LV equipment and installations

• Oil & gas / petrochemical industry knowledge

  
  

Nice to Have:

• Experience in hazardous area classification

• Knowledge of SmartPlant 3D (not mandatory)

• Knowledge of ETAP or other power system analysis software
