Senior Quality Engineer (f/m)

Responsibilities:

• collaborating with the Engineering department to ensure designs comply with quality requirements,
• planning and conducting internal audits and implementing corrective actions,
• leading quality initiatives (reducing defects and rework),
• analysing and resolving quality issues,
• participating in MRB meetings and managing RMA cases,
• providing quality support to Sales, Engineering and Manufacturing, and liaising with customers,
• monitoring and developing quality metrics (DPPM, OTD, Cost of Quality, etc.),
• collaborating with suppliers and inspecting sources,
• participating in NPI programmes (APQP, PPAP, control plans, FA reports, Zero Defects),
• participation in design reviews and supervision of production implementation,
• cross-departmental collaboration on problem-solving (engineering, operations, supply chain),
• support for shipments and internal audits,
• representing the quality function to the customer.

Candidate profile:

• min. 6 years’ experience in quality/engineering/production (aerospace or automotive industry),
• bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required,
• knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9001, AS9100),
• experience in RCA, 8D, SPC and data analysis,
• ability to work with technical documentation and drawings,
• experience in a manufacturing environment (low-volume/high-mix experience welcome),
• good knowledge of tools: Excel, Minitab, CAD.
