Global Accounting Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Global Accounting Manager to lead and build our international accounting department. This role is pivotal in ensuring the financial integrity of our organization and involves overseeing accounting operations on a global scale. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in global accounting, international regulations and financial leadership.

Responsibilities

• Supporting Head of Finance and Financial Controller
• Building and structuring an international accounting department
• Managing the accounting team and ways of working
• Being in charge of accounting processes, assurance of accuracy of financial data (including IFRS, legal & tax compliance)
• Monitoring and reporting cash flows of the company
• Communicating with banks for daily operations
• Leading accounting related development processes, systems and policy changes
• Preparing financial reporting to Group Chief Accountant for consolidation (IFRS)
• Managing annual reporting & auditing
• Consulting business people on tax and other accounting related topics
• Preparing ad-hoc reports in your field
• Responsible for correctness of submitted information and approved documents
• Responsible for constant improvement of knowledge

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in the field of accounting or finance
• Fluency in English both verbal and written
• Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or similar role, preferably in an international organization
• Significant experience in international accounting, including knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS) and multi-currency financial reporting
• Team management experience
• Target & detail-oriented, self-starter, motivated to deliver impact and value for the organization
• Good skills of working with MS Office
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
• Experience in managing or implementing changes in accounting systems or processes on an international scale
• Ability to ensure the company's accounting practices meet legal , tax and regulatory standards in all relevant jurisdictions
• Ability to adapt to evolving international accounting standards and propose innovative solutions to complex accounting topics
• Good communication skills

Considered as an advantage:

• Ukrainian language knowledge
• Experience with Microsoft Navision or Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations
• Experience with international subsidiaries and cross-border transactions
• Experience in internal or external auditing / familiar with audit processes and procedure
• Project management skills to handle complex international accounting topics
