Our main product, the web application omnicalculator.com, contains over 3700 custom-built calculators co-created by experts in various fields of science. It is visited over 20 million times a month. Media outlets such as The New York Times, National Geographic, The Guardian, and The Washington Post featured our calculators.
Role overview
Omni Calculator is looking for a talented Recruiter/HR Generalist to help us grow our team. Your primary focus will be finding the right people to drive our mission forward. Beyond recruitment, you will contribute to various HR projects and collaborate with our team to make Omni an even better place to work.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct end-to-end recruitment processes, from gathering role expectations through crafting the job description, leading the process, and communicating with the candidate throughout the process.
- Lead and improve the recruitment process, implementing best practices and tools to meet current and future needs.
- Build a unique sourcing strategy to find new candidates.
- Collaborate with other company departments and support people inside the organization in the process of hiring.
- Contribute to various HR projects, including company culture development, leadership support, performance management, total rewards, and people operations.
- Support initiatives that enhance the employee experience.
Apply if you:
- Have experience in leading end-to-end recruitment processes (preferably in the in-house company setup)
- Have experience in IT recruitment (preferably startups and product companies)
- Are creative and willing to try out non-traditional approaches to recruitment.
- Have excellent communication skills in English and Polish (at least C1 level, both speaking and writing).
- Feel comfortable with spreadsheets, reports, and data.
- Have a high sense of ownership.
- Are reliable, precise, and perfectly organized.
- Are eager to learn and do new things, constantly improve, and find ways to do your job even better.
- Are located in Poland
Employment terms:
- Contract type of your choosing - B2B or Contract of Employment
- The first contract will be signed for six months
- Salary: B2B up to 11000 PLN net/CoE up to 9200 PLN gross
- Work equipment such as a laptop, headphones, and LinkedIn Recruiter Corporate license, and/or other recruitment tools
- Flexible working schedule, fully remote or hybrid, with the possibility of working from our office in Kraków.

Recruitment process:
- An introduction call with the recruiter where you will learn more about the position (30-40 mins)
- Task to evaluate your product development process (you will have three days to work on it)
- An hour-long call with the Head of HR and an HR team member to tell you more about the role and check your role-related knowledge (60 minutes)
- An hour-long call with the CEO or Head of Operations to learn more about the company culture and get to know each other (60 minutes)
- Finally, we may ask for references from your previous employers
