Job Summary 

We’re looking for a Junior Data IO Technician to support ingest, organisation, tracking and QC across large volumes of digital assets. 

You will work closely with producers, editors, data managers and engineering partners to ensure smooth operational workflows and high data integrity. 

Ideal for someone early in their data‑operations career with strong attention to detail and an interest in digital production systems. 

Responsibilities 

• Manage ingest and organisation of digital assets across multiple platforms and tools. 

• Ensure metadata accuracy, version control and correct file structuring. 

• Support QC across incoming and outgoing files, ensuring consistency and quality. 

• Assist with data tracking, reporting and workflow documentation. 

• Collaborate with producers, editors and engineers to maintain smooth data operations. 

• Identify issues early, escalate risks and help maintain production continuity. 

• Follow established governance and data-handling processes across all workstreams. 

• Support ongoing optimisation of data workflows and tooling usage. 

Requirements 

• Experience working with digital files, data workflows or asset management systems (entry level acceptable). 

• Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail. 

• Basic understanding of file formats, versioning and metadata. 

• Comfortable working in fast‑paced production environments. 

• Good communication skills and willingness to learn technical workflows. 

• Proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with strong ownership and accountability.
